The Web Developer position calls for a strategic-thinker – while you enjoy creating web concepts through development, you understand that core elements (user personas, customer pain points, journey-mapping) are what informs each web project and the experience it provides.

As Web Developer you will be responsible for working with the design team to mould insights into experiences via WebFlow and WordPress. This entails a combination of design and development work, with an emphasis on development. You’re a rock star with time management, work well with others, and have no problem communicating regularly.

What you’ll do

•   Design and develop websites on WebFlow and WordPress
•   Work with the creative team to take strategy insights and develop them into seamless user experiences
•   Engage with members of the copywriting team to ascertain the kind of information the site should contain
•   Integrate audio, video, and graphics into the site
•   Quality-test and troubleshoot the website and/or its applications in various browsers

 

What we’d like to see

•   At least four years of web design / development experience
•   Competency in WebFlow and WordPress
•   Competency in CSS, HTML, PHP, and Javascript
•   Ability to conceive fresh and appealing ideas for new website projects

•   Experience with domain transfers, staging and production environments, SFTP, and hosting best practices
•   Working proficiency in Adobe Suites (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator)
•   Expertise in implementing SEO-friendly architecture
•   Excellent verbal communication skills with a good command of the Englishlanguage
•   Located in Greater Twin Cities Area (Minnesota)
